“For the past two years I have been conducting research in inertial electrostatic confinement fusion reactors. I completed a summer research internship with my professor and started a capstone group in the subject. I chose to become a Grand Challenges Scholar to find support and additional resources in my fusion research. Throughout this program I’ve learned that not all challenges are technical and that it takes strong support from those around you to succeed.”
