Grand Challenge focus area: The Joy of Living
"My project is called 'A Holistic Path to Hope : A Look at the Diverse Aspects Contributing to the Joy of Living.' I have learned about the value of approaching a problem from different perspectives. By looking at a topic through various lenses you are able to come to understand it better than if you only look at it one way. I chose to become a Grand Challenge Scholar because it was a way to bring together and connect various projects and classes I have been involved with. It has given me a way to sum up many of the things I have done during my time at UP that I am the proudest of."
