- May require summer coursework
- Six courses offered:
- two engineering courses
- two core electives
- one German language course (high school German is not required)
- Intercultural components of engineering study abroad
- Institutional Financial Aid applies
- Limited to approximately 12 students
- Courses taught in English
- Requires travel to Wels, Austria

- Includes field trips related to engineering topics and intercultural learning

Global E3
The Global E3 Program is a consortium-based exchange program for undergraduate engineering students to study abroad and/or carry out internships worldwide, all while continuing to pay tuition at home. Students at Global E3 member institutions can choose to study abroad at international institutions for a single semester or for an academic year. The Shiley School of Engineering currently has study abroad plans in the following countries: Singapore, Mexico, Egypt, UK, Denmark, Netherlands, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Korea, China, France, Germany, and Spain.
