Electrical Engineering: Graduates and Employment

Electrical track graduates find careers in large and small companies in the electronics and computer industries such as semiconductor manufacturers, computer companies, automotive and aerospace industries, wireless communications companies, power companies and others.  Electrical engineering graduates are also very well prepared for graduate studies.

Computer track graduates find careers in such fields as computer, aerospace, automotive, telecommunication, power utility, electronic manufacturing, and others.  Computer engineering graduates are also very well prepared for graduate studies.

Students find employment through several different channels. Some jobs connections are through faculty contacts in the professional community (an advantage of a small school), while others originate from announcements sent to the School of Engineering. Yet others are found through the University's Office of Career Services.
