One of the most important decisions you can make early in your civil engineering career is to place yourself on a course to become licensed as a
Professional Engineer (PE).

This essential 48-hour review course is intended for those holding civil engineering degrees who are pursuing licensure.

Topics include:
Hydraulics, environmental, hydrology, water supply, waste water treatment, surveying, transportation engineering, traffic engineering.

Jan. 19-Mar. 30, 2010
Tuesday evenings
6-9 p.m.
Fee: $320.00

Topics include:
Geotechnical engineering, structures, reinforced concrete, foundations and retaining walls, construction project management, steel design, wood and seismic design, engineering economics, plus miscellaneous topics.

Important note regarding fees: The University refund policy for continuing education courses states that prior to the first week of class, 100% of tuition will be refunded. Ninety percent (90%) is refunded after the first class, and there is no refund after the second class.
