Computer Science: Graduates

The Portland metropolitan area and the Pacific Northwest offer many opportunities for graduating computer scientists. Graduates find employment in diverse areas, from the semi-conductor industry to financial business.

Graduates from the University have gone on to work at Nike, Intel, Harland Financial Solutions, Hewlett Packard, Mentor Graphics, Microsoft, the National Security Agency, Tektronix, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to name a few.  

The computer science degree also prepares students for graduate school. Students have pursued graduate degrees from institutions such as Duke, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Oregon State University, the University of Idaho, the University of Illinois, the University of Oregon, the University of Washington, and Washington State University. 

Students learn about employment opportunities through faculty contacts, announcements, career fairs, and the Office of Career Services.
